Global Gap and HACCP certificates are supporting our production process. Our apples stored in controlled cold atmosphere, so almost all year round, they remain a great firmness, freshness and good taste.
Cold storage area can handle 2200 tonnes of apples - including 1100 tonnes of controlled atmosphere, of which 600 tonnes uses ULO. The entire process to maintain an appropriate temperature and composition of the air is directed by computer. ULO technology allows to maintain the atmosphere of O2 at 1.5% and CO2 - depending on needs - about 2%. The walls are polyurethane based, coated with sheet steel which makes apples retain their natural smell - as if they were straight from the tree.
